I am currently studying new media at City of Westminster, to improve my promotional skills and my knowledge in the media.

Evaluation of claymotion

Clay animation is stopmotion but with the use of clay to create the characters other than using cut out paper with pictures on it, an example of a clay character which became quite famous is Morph. Which was success because it attracted childrens attention and kept them entertained with the childish comedy and gibberish that suits babies.
Gumbasia was the first succesful clay animation, which was created into a short film lasting 3mins. The Strengths of clay amination that it is more creative, and and it looks close to animation.
There are certain limitations to clay animation, which is that you can only do certain shots doue to the fact that the camera could only be placed in one position.
